Non-dairy Coffee Creamers?

Hi:

I recall soya milk being no good in coffee.

What do you use in coffee to make it milky?

Would almond milk work?

Thanks for your ideas.

For my tastes, almond milk is rather watery. You might consider trying hemp milk. It's my favorite; nice and creamy. I've never tried it in coffee, but it's good to drink, and I use it in place of cow's milk for lots of things.

I cant speak from personal experience, but cashew milk is supposed to be creamier than almond milk, so that may be an option for you as well.
I use powdered non-dairy creamer.

this is true! it has the closest consistency to cow's milk of all the milk substitutes I've personally tried. really good too!

We don't really have cashew milk over here. I did find it but it looks expensive. But thanks for the suggestion! I will try it out hopefully soon. :)

I use almond milk or coconut milk. Coconut milk is creamier.
But from time to time, I also use organic double cream, as a special treat.
If you are vegetarian then any of these are fine. If vegan then just the 1st two.

Yeah, almond milk is too thin...
I haven't tried coconut milk, but it's worth a shot!
I love using coconut oil for cooking and other things.
I just use half and half.

You're right to avoid powdered creamers - all the labels I've read they have horrible stuff in them.

I think I prefer almond milk as a standalone drink.

Hemp milk is fine in hot drinks. Nutty taste.

TBH I quite like soya milk generally, but it does curdle in coffee.
