I remember many... lines. Straight, curves. Small intricate ones, thinker larger ones. Some triangular patterns. there was a thicker triangular one on her face... and cheeks. Many on her arms. I don't remember the exact color, it was dark out.. I could barely see her. I just remember her eyes being a sharp pale blue.
I don't know much about Norse Mythology unfortunately! :(
It just appealed to me how in a time where I was trying to really discover my beliefs and lack of.. the name Emma coincidentally comes up in my travels which happens to mean god is with you! Pretty cool I think :) sure gave me some reassurance that I'm on the right path.

Come to think of it the marking could have been a dark blue.

It isn't the only culture to feature this, but one that stands out is the pict culture. If she was european, maybe even red haired, and covered with blue patterns then I would not be surprised if she was one of those. She may well have been a pict druid.

Oh my... She did have this feel to her. Although she was tanned skinned, and very thin. She had minimal clothing as if she just had some torn up fabric as a small skirt and covering her breasts. She had some sort of beads on like this woman.. and had a warrior feel to her. If im not mistake I think she did have a sword at her side. These were small details I didnt really pay attention to. There markings are extremely similar. She had very short dark hair.

I am really looking forward to see that picture :) This must be telepathy or something because I came back to this thread to ask if you can paint, and whether you could illustrate her?
