There is no real accurate translation of the Hebrew name of God into English.

I AM THAT I AM is a very loose interpretation.

Then again, I know nothing about Christianity whatsoever, so don't mind me.

The Jews frown upon Christianity's translation of the name Yahveh into Jehovah......

Changing from someone who believes in God into someone who accepts that they are God is a massive step which is very difficult to take.

It is very simple Honza, we ourselves complicate our own lives, you either believe you are God or you don't

Is there any ' middle path ' which is comfortable for you?

Where would the "change" be, in this line of thinking? How does believing God is their essence, who they fully are, stop them from believing in God? If anything, to embrace such a noble truth, one would be strengthening their belief in God.

You do what ever you believe and what you feel is right and comfortable regardless of anybody else or what they have to say...even if the whole world disagrees (or agrees)...and this is the truest test of personal faith. I believe in God and know I am NOT God, regardless of anybody else out there and I am very happy and satisfied with that.

I was of the understanding that I am a sinner who has fallen from grace. It is not something that I was conditioned into; but rather it was who I felt I was inside. To go from that to understanding that I am God is a big change.
