what does maya look like?
What is maya representative off? What does it look like or symbolise?
It is not a meaningless illusion. It has law, order, good, evil, people and the whole world within it. It is not superficial. So what is it supposed to represent?
Is it just an image of our mind? The mind must be divinely intelligent to dream up such a grand illusion.......

Maya has numerous theories and numerous thinkers have describe that word but it is not enough. May I share my views as I know in this thread?

Sure go ahead. From what you said I gather there is no real answer as such to my question. There are only personal ideas instead.

you are right, there is no real answer of this question, there are various confusing and complex theories. According to a belief, Maya is a power of God, you see goddesses as pair with almost all god in Hinduism. It is a representation of Maya. |

There is only one letter "I" that represents Maya and everything in it. You remove I and you unviel Maya.

The Maya I know looks very much like your avatar. Sexy, lovely and wonderful 
The other thing, maya, looks exactly like reality and represents what you see.

What does maya look like?
Look around you. Nothing is what it appears to be.
What you see seems like solid matter, but is actually atomic and subatomic particle energies full of empty space.
Go into deep meditation and the world and even your body disappears, until you return to ordinary awareness.
What appears to exist on one level doesn't on another.
That's maya.

Maya is ego...a belief in a separation from God/Spirit. It is everything we perceive through our senses, everything that we think, everything we experience...E V E R Y T H I N G. That which is Real can not be perceived as we perceive everything through mind. The real is beyond mind. |
