I appreciate your desire to share your sacred scripture. And given that it touches upon events covered in the Torah it is not totally out of place in this sub-forum. However, and I may be wrong, I suspect that there is some additional purpose for your posting and I, for one, would suggest that you come to your point.

There are many, many writings in the world that are considered by one group, or another, as sacred scripture, but which are not held as such by other traditions. I do not denigrate the scriptures of others and the position those scriptures hold in the lives of those who consider them to be sacred.

At the same time I expect that the same respect that I extend to scriptures and traditions not my own be offerred to me. If the ultimate purpose of your postings is to prove the truth of the Quran or the superiority of the Quaran over other scripture, or the superiority of Islam over the other Abrahamic paths, I would suggest that this is not the proper venue to do so.

B'shalom,

Peter

It is not obligatory for muslims to fast, but the fasting would bring forgiveness for the past year sins. Those who did not know may have the same reward even if they did not fast as long as they have the intention to fast this day next year and so on.

Best wishes for all.
