I channeled, and not intentionally

During my teaching session w/ my spiritual teacher, she had me read some one who has passed. I live in the city and there was tons of background noise, which I've learned to shut out, but this day way particularity difficult. As I was in trance trying to read this spirit, I was focusing a lot of my energy on "hearing" the answers to the questions my teacher was asking. I remember thinking, "A little louder, I can't hear you" and (oooh goosebumps!) she came through rather clear and wow-eee, did she come through!

I answered as she would, my mannerisms were as hers when she spoke. Holy **** was it awesome, but I have to say, I didn't like it. LOL. Considering it wasn't my intention to channel her and I didn't exactly "ask" for her to come through that way, (I know it took me off guard, which I am ok with,) and I'm not exactly sure as to why I don't like it, but I didn't. This moment, which seemed like forever, only lasted about 5 seconds before I knew what was happening, then I put her back in her place and continued the reading.

After I came out of trance, my teacher and I started at each other in a *** moment.

Now that I know I can do it, I'm ok with never doing it again. LOL.

Channeling isn't my forte, but I'd love to hear any thoughts and opinions on what happened.

oh wow ! most interesting experience NiteOwl , that was something I always wondered about channeling... if spirits just pop in, so to speak, and start talking or if one has to specifically request someone/ some spirit , to channel ?

Wasn't this the spirit you were trying to read ?
