Organizing your crystals

I was just wondering, do you organize your crystals ? sort them out by name etc ? or do you keep them somewhere special, certain ones together or all of them in one place ?

For me, I just listen to them, let them tell me where they want to be. Right now I have several sitting on a south and west facing window ledge, been there since last week. A small bunch sitting in front of one of the living room (facing east) windows. I've got a large rose quartz chunk lol literally right beside me, like inches away from my right side. And sitting underneath my monitor screen are a small handfull of my turquoise beads, and three other stones.
When they tell me they want to be moved somewhere, I listen.
For several years, when I was on my spiritual path hiatus, my stones and crystals were largely split into two groups. One that were nestled down into some beach sand sitting in a bowl on top of a cabinet, while the other was outside in the ground.

Many people have different ways of how the handle, display, and choose to or not to organize the stones and crystals in their care. At the core of it, it all really just boils down to what you personally, as the individual caretaker of the stones and crystals in your care, choose to do with them.
We just follow our heart, what we feel and follow what they tell us. We can't go wrong like that.

I just love wild parties so i have them all in the same place, even put music (but i think they hate ozzy)

Yes, I know personal preference and it varies with each person, I was just interested in hearing from others about their ideas
