It was a very powerful book to me, it also spoke to me.
I was inspired to give it to my sister in law Liz, who lost 2 of her sons in 5 years. I know it will bring her some comfort when she takes the time to read it

After reading this, I bought “A message of hope from the angels”. I read through the first chapter and it teaches you about how angels are always there and love you. You should love yourself and others!

The book is WAY better than the movie. I've seen the movie and read the book right after to compare. The one good thing about the movie is that the character development is more fluid and believable plus Sam Worthington is a great actor who really brings the movie to life. In my head while reading I imagined David Duchovny from X Files as Mack Phillips but that's my opinion. The Shack is a beautiful parable with gems I will probably keep with me for life. Even though their theology is quite different from mine as I don't believe in the trinity.
