Crystal to devalue money

I know that this may sound strange as most people would ask for crystals to increase their money (although I think this goes contrary to the whole idea of energy, but hey ho).

I have some coins that i use for magic (illusion). They’re normal coins but I carry them everywhere and I like to keep these particular ones separate for their particular quality and the fact that they’re identical.

However for me money is not something that carries a great energy and it has been handled by god knows how many people. The date on these coins shows they were minted over 20 years ago and who knows what they’ve been used to fund or buy?

Is really like to cleanse this energy and if possible leave a crystal in the pouch with them that keeps them neutral. I’d almost like them to lose all monetary value and simply be pieces of metal again.

If this makes sense where should I start?

If you want to clear them of energy, I would say start with saging the coins with some white sage. With the intention of clearing, and releasing any energy that may be attached to these coins.

Crystal wise, perhaps put a piece of selenite into a pouch with them. Which will work to keep clearing the coins of their energy. However since you carry them, and handle them, they will always carry some energy with them. I know you are wanting to clear them of the intention of how they were used.

From there I would then set the intention of how you wish to use those coins going forward. Which will carry your new intentions with them.

In a way by doing what you want to do you still keep them -and yourself- attached to the negative energy field concerning money. You do this by focusing on it, by thinking and believing money and you are attached to it, by wanting to get rid of it.
Just focus on positive energy concerning money. As opposed to feeling all the bad things they've funded, think of all the good things they've funded. How much happiness and love it brought to people, just by existing as an exchange means.
Simply infuse the coins -and any money you have and come across, albeit physical or virtual- with positive energy and Bob's your uncle.
You don't need stones for that, you have to change your own way of thinking.
You could cleanse the coins with sage if that makes you feel better, visualize they're not connected to any negative energy anymore.
But the biggest change should be in you. In a way your own negative views concerning money is what your money needs protection from.
If you can get to that, any money you touch will become Light & positiveness and when you spend it as you pay for things you will then begin to spread it too.
Again, you don't need any crystals for that. It's not like there's a dark monster lurking outside to attach to your money or coins. You attach that to it by believing that.

I think you’re right. After all, it’s only money for as long as I believe it is. As soon as I accept them as just pieces of metal they’ll be fine. I’m curious to try the stone anyway, perhaps then I’ll feel better about the coins and I can try and change my own ideals about them.

La as it turns out, Selenite is one of my zodiac stones. This could be the nudge I needed. Thank you!

Yes, it is a useful crystal for those who use cards. Most readers keep a stick on top of their cards to keep them cleared when using them.

And selenite is just a great all around crystal to use. I have a ton of it. I have it all over the place. Over windows. Over doors. Keeping the energy clear of rooms.

I love Selenite. I hold it before sleeping. I find it very soothing and protective, like an angel watching over me as I sleep:)

And if you use and carry crystals, a large piece of selenite to place them on, clears out those energies of the crystals. Selenite is wonderful crystal and should be in everyone's toolbox that is using crystals, or doing energy work. Luckily it's fairly cheap as well.
