Hi Debbie,
I can relate... for one thing, I've been raised with a religion that permeated every aspect of my life,
& this last year, I realized it wasn't what I thought it was... not only that, but Christianity & God too! It's a huge change ... a roller coaster!

It's scarey, but also exciting!
It was a shock to realize "the kingdom of God is within" - but I don't consider myself God...
I may be from God, a part of God, but not GOD.
The other night, I felt such love - & it seemed to come from outside of me.
I just don't understand who God is...
I want to define God - so I can put all of this powerful belief & feeling into resonating with God... but who is God?
Maybe it's where we need to let go of the need to control/define, & just enjoy the love we feel... which is God.

GOD is GoOD. I was just reading through my friend's NDE -
how she used to think in terms of judgment & feared God's "all seeing eye" watching & judging every wrong thing she did.
Then in her NDE, she realized that everything is right in a way... even our mistakes - so we can learn & progress.
And spirits/guides/God don't judge us like we do.
Infact, they're more like a mother who watches her child throw a fit or freak out about something she knows isn't significant.
She still loves her child & shows compassion, but there's often a little humor & patience too.

Ahh, if everyone knew this...

"...but who is God?" Sometimes it's fun to understand more about
quantum physics to expand our perspective - get it, perspective? Ha!
For example - it's nice to remember that we are 99. 99999% empty space.

Or did that make it worse!!!!?
Love you,
Miss Hepburn

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Thanks, Miss Hepburn, Love you too!
lol From a particular perspective, I'm practically nothing! lol
Maybe God is "in the void" - whatever that means... or doesn't mean!
Actually, there's this song about this...Reaching (by Hilary Weeks)...
Quote:

Well, I should not have thought it strange
that growing causes growing pains
As the more we learn the more we know
we don't know anything...
Still it seems a tragic fate
Living with this quiet ache
The constant strain for what remains
Just out of reach...

I guess I shouldn't think it odd
Until we see the face of God
The yearning deep within us tells us there's more to come
So when we taste of the divine
It leaves us hungry every time
For one more taste of what awaits when Heaven's gates are reached...

I find it annoying when people can not understand the true understanding of the atonement of Jesus' blood on the Cross.

I feel like people have taken it too an extreme level that is cohesive with pagan rituals.

If we look at the term atonement we can verily see- "At-one-ment". Thus Jesus is the at-one-ment with God for the human race.

It is not only Jesus' death, but his entire life, resurrection, and way of living that gets the soul back to the Father.

As Jesus lived the Way, the Truth, and Life, thus he showed the Way,the Truth, and the Life, thus he BECAME the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

You can not talk the talk and NOT walk the walk. That is absurd! Then Jesus is a liar if he didn't.

He lived as the Christ, he showed the way to the Christ, and he became the Christ.

The whole thing that he didn't have to go through is true. Jesus was a pure soul, perfect, divine, clean, and without error. He was one with the Father through the Holy Spirit. But in strength in overcoming the self, the flesh, and making his human self completely one with his divine self, we have the Way!

Even Buddha predicted the Holy One who would come fully enlightened to bring the new way who would have a disk in his palms and hands. A wound on his side, and a scar on his head. He would lead people to the Highest Nirvana (The Father), and discard the old way (old testament thinking).

Everyone knows Jesus is the Christ. But how they know is a different story.

debbie.b, allow your experiences and your heart to guide you. To me the journey to understanding God is a personal one, whether you decide to call it that or not.

To me, God is all of existence. It is all of creation. God is love, unconditional love. Experiencing God, to me is like feeling every emotion, joy, anger, hate, love, etc, all at once. It is a feeling of connectedness to all of existence, past, present and future; every single thought and emotion, all at once. It is all of these things, yet it is not overwhelming. It feels like a loving embrace.

Pure unconditional love.

How will you know when the truth has been revealed to you? When God makes His Presence known to you, you will know it! The experience differs from one person to the next. Some feel a burning sensation in their heart region. Others feel waves of love flowing over their body again and again – for me, I get the goosebumps when I feel the Father’s Love flowing into my soul. Others share that it was like a nuclear explosion going off in their body.

God has touched many souls in this way. The truth is that He Loves you and wants you to know that He is real. The way the God communicates to us is Soul to soul. And that is why we must pray using our souls to know the truth.
