Jesus and the Father live in me, and are separate from me.
Jesus said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him."
They will come and live in me, but they are not me, and I am not them. They will guide me and I will follow, but I won't guide them, and they won't follow me.
This is Christian duality. Jesus sits on the right hand side of the Father, and maintains his separateness and individuality. Jesus and the Father will come.
The Father is shown as a caring being, one highly interested in the affairs of humanity. A being with his own consciousness, who 'interferes' with human destiny, who wants us to follow him and his Son. A being who wishes for our development in a certain direction.

This kind of makes sense to me. More than the New Age and Hindu version of things. I like Christian theology. I like the Christian version of reality. But I cannot state that it is the only TRUE version of reality because to be honest I don't KNOW....

" A being with his own consciousness, who 'interferes' with human destiny "
How does he interfere with human destiny?

On another post you were agreeing with the Eastern teachings regarding the ' Unconscious Mind ' and also ' Collective Consciousness ', you personally started a Thread on them so clearly you have some interest.
There is wisdom to be found in the teachings from different corners of the World, some can mix them together quite comfortably but others become confused, it depends on the individual.

It likely wasn't the best choice of words because it has negative connotations, but I mean interferes in the sense of intervenes in, and not because we ask Him to but because He wishes to.

Does he not ' Wish ' to stop all the atrocities in the world, for instance. the famine in Yemen which is just one of many ?. It breaks my heart to see what is going on there at this moment through the News reports....

The only way to stop atrocities is to change people's hearts. Sending someone who can completely submit their will to God seems to be the plan, and for everyone else to come to learn to do this.
In this sense God only wills good, but doesn't restrict the bad. He demonstrates the power of the good to the extent that people follow his will of their own choice.
If God were to demand good, then he has taken away our free will, and this is intrinsically negative. The only option left is to demonstrate good well enough and clearly enough to effect change, no matter how long it takes.

Yes I have plenty of interest in the East. It is just that I prefer the Western version.
