Reincarnated tree

Has anyone else remembered experiences from former lives as being anything other than human? I clearly remember being a tree. I remember being hit by lightening and reaching out my branches to save the birds nest as it fell. I remember grieving because I couldn't catch it and the babies plummeted thousands of feet to their death. I was big and strong. I grew from the side of a mountain and had no other trees near me. My friends were birds, squirrels and insects.
There is no other way to describe the experience I have other than as a memory. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen?

Could you tell us more about your tree life? Did you hurt by lightening? How long did you live?

I don't remember the lightening hurting me, so much as it shocked me with it's power. I was mad at it for striking me and making me lose the nest of baby birds. First I raged at it and then I became very sad and died from grief.
I was very large, had deep roots, and lot's of long branches. I had friends on land and air that I was worried about during the storm. Most of my friends were I guess kind of homeless or lonely or something, they weren't with others of their kind . I remember it tickled when the bugs crawled on me. My best friend was some kind of small animal that ran up and down my branches but I cannot remember what he looked like. I also remember the way it felt to have a warm wind blow on me, a tree in the wind.
It is so clear what I do remember, but I have never heard of anyone being reincarnated from anything other than another human before. Kind of makes me think I have a great imagination, which I do, but this is so different. I feel the memories too.

Wow never heard of a hamadryad before so I googled it and find it very interesting. I sure do feel connected to trees and when I dance I sometimes don't move my feet and just kind of sway like a tree would.

How did it feel when insects, animals, birds or humans chewed your leaves, plucked your flowers, ate your fruits, cut or broke your branches? Did you feel a loss that something was being taken from you?

I don't remember ever meeting any humans but I remember not liking them. I have a vague feeling I saw them on the river and my dislike for them seems connected with trash they threw, as nothing grieves me more then seeing trash, especially plastic bags that are wrapped around the base of a tree. I have found dead trees, and ones struggling beneath garbage to breathe and it hurts me.

The animals made me feel warm, like a grandmother type of warm. It tickled when they crawled on me, and I clearly remember one that would do it on purpose and I feel a special bond to that one. Birds usually flew past and gave news reports on their way, usually weather updates.

I do not recall ever having a live branch fall and none were ever touched by humans that I recall. When my dead leaves or branches fell I was grateful and fascinated, like a mother watching her children doing good deeds when they don't know she is aware. It was like I was fulfilling a calling or something when I watched them go. My babies were going out into the world to help with it's growth.

Many of these things I did not remember until you asked. Thank-you. I think maybe I shall write my story. The one when I was a tree offering refuge. I wish I could remember what my name was.

That's awesome. I would love to hear more if you would like to share! I believe ravens are my spirit guides in this life as they show up whenever I follow my spirits path.
