still no answers

this dream is from Aug 5th 2016 ~ Im going back in my dream journal because I haven't had any significant dreams lately.

(part) I was laying on my bed upright and Jess (we had just recently broken up at the time of the dream, she is still my ex gf) was standing over me looking down with a smirk & said "why can't you always be like this" and I said "like what??"

I guess this eludes to my not ever being able to figure out what it is I'm doing wrong and why she no longer likes me.

Sometimes the message is a play of similar sounding words, for example, maybe what she meant was: I guess you'll always be like this.

maybe so but I guess I still don't understand what it is I'm (I was) being like. Then again maybe things just aren't meant to be understood or work out for a reason.

well, your posture was of laying down, yet upright... this might indicate that
you were restful, but also alert [attentive?]. perhaps she'd come to see you as
being 'keyed up' and non-attentive/self-absorbed during your wakeful hours?
i'm thinking that the dream may have been telling you of the judgments she'd
come to make about you, and not that it was saying you've had actual "faults"
which were needing correction.
it's noteworthy that she was "looking down" at you in that dream (as if she'd
come to think of herself as 'superior' in some way?).
