Why's my friend been cold toward me? 10 of cups, Knight of cups, 8 of pentacles

So, one of my personal trainers at my gym, who's actually my favorite trainer whether he knows it or not, is always a very happy, outgoing guy.

I haven't been going to the gym much this past month due to temporary changes in personal schedule. When I've seen him every time, he's been unusually cold to me and hasn't been friendly/gone out of his way for me. It's just unlike him, and I still am the customer no matter what, so I'm confused. So I asked the cards why:

-10 of cups
-Knight of cups
-8 of pentacles

I have my own theory about this interpretation, which comes from my gut and takes all of the cards into account as one answer. I hope it doesn't come across as snobby, but I think this trainer has a crush on me and knows he can't do anything about it, and takes it personally when I don't come to the gym.


Does anyone else have thoughts regarding these cards pulled for this question?

He may feel as if he wants to pursue you, but he knows he has to hold back. I would imagine it's frustrating for him, so he's just trying to ignore you lol Keep on smiling and being as friendly as possible. Just be yourself. Ignore the fact that he's ignoring you. It probably makes him happy to see you happy.
