Ayurveda aside,

Something to consider,

Caffeine works on the same part of the brain as nicotine, heroin etc.

It alters mood, thoughts, brain, frontal lobe, third eye etc.

No surprise when one quits caffeine, they experience headaches from the frontal lobe.

An excerpt from the net in regards to the frontal lobe:

The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that controls important cognitive skills in humans, such as emotional expression, problem solving, memory, language, judgment, and sexual behaviors. It is, in essence, the “control panel” of our personality and our ability to communicate etc.

I searched:
https://www.google.com/search?q=coff...hrome&ie=UTF-8
Found several intersting links.

For example: https://rasa-ayurveda.com/blogs/life...tive-on-coffee, that starts like this:

What is the Ayurvedic perspective on this beloved drink? Well, like most things, Ayurveda considers coffee to be both medicine for some and poison for others, at certain times and in certain situations.

Disclaimer: You can't trust all that you read on the internet ...

Coffee is not generally looked upon favorably in Ayurveda as it is considered to be a "heating" food that can aggravate the Pitta dosha. Try ayurvedic protein powder
