Strange Dog balls!
OK I have a collection of tennis balls that used to belong to my (deceased) dog in a huge plant-pot in my garden. One of the balls is a black-and-white one which looks like a small soccer ball. It's a very old one, she had it for years, and it's been sitting there through wind and storms and everything for over 1 year unmoved and undisturbed.
This ball was just one of my dog's ball collection. Nothing special. It wasn't even her favourite one.
Today I came back from a walk and saw the black-and-white ball was on the path! I put it back. Wondered what had shifted it....
About an hour later I was driving the car, was about a half mile away from my house, and at the edge of the little country lane I spotted an identical black-and-white ball just sitting there!
Weird....simple but weird.

I think you're meant to pick up the ball & lob it through the air saying "So long Misty"..........and finally let go of her!..... |

Misty just wants you to know she is there with you and that she's okay. She chose that particular ball, because you would be sure notice it.
Our two previous pups visit us from time to time. Rascal, who died in 1992 has just recently started visiting. Jasmine died in 2004. She walks on my son's bed and curls up next to him. I have had Jazz next to me as well. Our current dogs know when one or the other of them is there and are not at all bothered.

Misty didn't even like that ball.
This was an odd synchronicity. Strangely I didn't sense her particularly at the time. It was just one of those very weird events.

That is cute! So glad she comes to visit you. I think because that ball wasn't her favorite she is saying hey you.
My new guy (cat) knows when I am thinking about Storm.(cat passed away 3 months ago) He puts his big paw on me usually my face because the first time he did it I was crying so he knows what was up with that and when I am sad he just paws my face. It is cute actually lol
