Unhappy I'm obsessed that I'm fat.....

I swim (well the past two weeks I've been not swimming b/c I'm so tired) about 2-3 miles a week.
I eat very healthy, especially the past 6 months I eat very healthy, but I'm also not a big eater in that I don't graze throughout the day I usually eat lunch then dinner and that's it.
I weigh 200 pounds, although people who see me think I weigh about 180. I don't look it.
But why am I so obsessed, I hate looking at myself in the mirror, I see photos of myself and I want to rip them up because I look SO fat.
What's wrong with me?

Do I just accept myself as a full figured and round goddess?

Heh, it all depends~how tall are you and (heheh), how well do you 'carry' that weight?
I discovered that by taking my own picture with my phone camera, that sometimes I take good pics, sometimes not...they say the camera doesn't lie. BUT, our eyes and our friends' and loved ones' eyes lie all the time, apparently...I look at myself inthe mirror, take my picture, when I don't like what I see, I'll say, what the dillio, I didn't look that bad in the mirror. I have an image of myself that I Want more than anything, practically. I'm working towards it, but because it's such a big desire, it seems painfully slow. But I'm not giving up.

Hi I'm five foot five and I carry my weight well plus I'm very musculars in my legs, arms, back, shoulders, upper back, butt, stomach...which is all due to swimming so I'd say about 20 pounds of my weight is muscle.
Silver my goal is to look at how goddesses are, way back in time you see images and statues of godessess round and chubby and I think that should be my influence. I also figure if I keep obsessing about my weight it will continue to remain the same. I think I have to find a way to accept myself as beautiful. My husband loves me like this as he doesn't like skinny girls he finds chubbiness a huge turn on......thank god.
xoxo

I'm very lucky silver. I think it's because he's Sicilian. And they LOVE to eat and I think it's in their genes that if a woman is skinny she don't like to eat so lets go with the chubby ones so that he can feed me and we can enjoy our food LOL.
He's six foot 3 and very broad and chubby himself and I love that because his size makes me feel very petite because 90 percent of men are too small for my taste. I'm just very broad shouldered and have a large bone structure.....so I could squash most men haha

Spiritlite...

You might have thyroid issues... http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com is a really stellar site for getting more information if you have hypo symptoms but your doctor tells you you don't because your labs are normal.

You might have food allergy issues that cause you to hold on the extra weight and fluid...Many folks report that once they went gluten-free the weight came off easily. I'm not saying you have a gluten problem, just as an example.

You might not be getting enough magnesium and good healthy fat in your diet. Magnesium is really important in keeping the metabolism healthy. Coconut oil is medium chained fatty acids, and helps improve the metabolism.

Even if you don't have thyroid issues, you might want to add iodine to your diet (lugols iodine, iodoral to name a couple can be found online). Without sufficient iodine in our diet, our thyroid doesn't work as optimally as it should. Vitamin D (5,000-10,000iu) is another important nutrient and becoming optimal improves energy and helps in weight loss. CoQ10 (100-200mg) is another supplement that provides energy to the mitochondria and indirectly aids in weight loss.

Some other links: http://www.breastcancerchoices.org/iodineindex.html-- As you can see from this link, iodine is a very important nutrient that most of us are deficient in.

I will read that because I just got my TSH done and it was "normal"

How would I know if I have food allergies?

I take a very good mg supplement everyday and everyday I eat avocadoes which have very healthy fats in them. Is that the same as coconut oil? How do you eat coconut oil?

I do take Vitamen D everyday as well as swimming outside in the son. Don't we get iodine in salt? Or is that not the same?

Not a bad plan imo not because you're destined to be that way, but because if you think of yourself as a goddess, it's gonna show, whatever your size.

A hubby who likes you chubby - you, my dear, are very blessed.

Thankyou Kaere but yeah right now I need to consider I'm a goddess appreciate that my husband loves me the way I am and realize I really do not look like 200 pounds.
My blood pressure is great.
I just got blood work done and everything is actually excellent, in fact my doctor called me and told me she's not seen great lab work (ie good cholesterol vs bad etc) in a very long time so I do eat well and the swimming does keep my blood pressure down etc.
