A woman who has put a stop to going round and round in circles.

Thanks, Fortune. It's almost bedtime, and I can't say I've heard anything that those cards might relate to. Unless they were relating to a soap I was watching earlier in which a couple had split up and the girl had found someone new! Hmm over the past couple of days I have been more specific with my questions and the cards don't appear to be giving me accurate answers (or i'm not interpreting them correctly), which is pretty disheartening. :( Suddenly I'm not enjoying this anymore. I was so excited last weekend when my readings were accurate.

Well, you can either dissect the entire day for which you drew those three cards or let it slide and continue on. Best is to just keep going I think. Lenormand takes a bit of time to get used to. You have to find the way in that works for you. Once you got that, you could be on a roll!
What are you doing different now from when your readings were accurate? Maybe you're questions are too specific. Like the last one, the most important news you will hear.
What if that day you won't really hear any (important) news? Then the cards may indeed come up with something about a tv series.
It's one thing to be too vague, another to be too specific. Asking the right questions is also something you'll have to learn.
For day cards I usually don't ask any question at all. I just draw 3 cards for that day and let the cards decide what is important.
Like about the news that day ... if you were to get any important news that day, the cards would've told you with the Rider or Letter.
Now you were assuming that there was going to be important news, and maybe there wasn't any that day. Then Lenormand cannot answer that.
Maybe the answer was that you feel like letting go of (Scythe) your (Woman) connection (Ring) with the cards because you are discouraged/disappointed.

You can also try to get it clear by going through the day bit by bit to see what news you did get -if any at all-, and then look further than the obvious, standard interpretations.
Personally I find it easier to not let myself get blindsided by three cards I can't read, and just move on to the next. Otherwise you are in a way trying to force your intuition to work and that usually only works against you.
When I first started, and journaled too, I also got cards that I didn't get.
And to be honest, I sometimes find it easier to do a boxspread (9 cards, 3x3) than a 3 card reading with Lenormand. Not entirely sure why.
I do know that keeping at it helps. As long as you enjoy it.

I'd say: go back to the way you were reading cards that made you feel comfy. If you feel you want a break, take a break.
And for day cards, try not to ask questions, just focus on the day.

That reading was accurate. Just not as exciting, lol. You have to remember, exciting things aren't going to be happening everyday. Lennie gave you the best answer it could :-) There are plenty of days where I have to have a sense of humor about it

Thanks for your message.

I spent the whole day thinking about these things Lennie said were going to happen. I have dissected the whole day. The soap opera is the only thing I can think of.

I asked more specific questions on Friday and Saturday, like "what's going to happen at work today?" and "what's going to happen in this area of my life today?". I got pretty promising cards yesterday and on Friday for an area of my life I asked about...but nothing happened in that area of my life yesterday...nothing at all. I will try your way of drawing day cards tomorrow. See what happens. :)

I get what you're saying about "important news!".

I get pretty irritated when the cards don't seem to make sense. I've been thinking "if they don't make sense now, how would I ever rely on them to give me accurate answers when I have really important questions."

One of the readings this morning was quite funny. I had just messaged my friend, who told me her fish had gone missing. I emailed back and then asked my cards who I would hear from next. I got Man-Book-Fish. I thought maybe I'd hear from a businessman. When my friend messaged back, I realised he cards were talking about her. She's obviously not a man, but she is someone who is very much about getting things done and sometimes she can be a bit of a tomboy. I read Book-Fish as "mystery regarding fish".

Yep, that may have been accurate, but some of the other readings I've done over the past couple of days haven't been. Makes me sad, because I've gotten a few really good readings about my near future, so I'm expecting something good to happen. I worry that my dreams will come crashing down, and I'll be left with very little faith at all if the cards don't turn out to be accurate,
