“Without Consciousness there would be no World, for the World exists as such only in so far as it is Consciously Reflected and Considered by a Psyche. Consciousness is a Precondition of Being.”

Beautiful... and as the mushroom guy said:

“You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness.”

It is important to be quite clear about things written by C G Jung which have not escaped censorship in our times as politically incorrect.

Pre-war Jung assessed Nazism in this manner:

"We do not know whether Hitler is going to found a new Islam. He is already on the way. He is like Muhammed. The emotion in Germany is Islamic: warlike and all drunk with a wild god."

What Nazism and Islam had in common can be briefly described to prove Jung's point:
Supremacist ideology: Aryans and non-Aryans, Islamics and non-Islamics.
Totalitarian government
The quote above comes from C G Jung: Symbolic Lit., Miscellaneous Writings, Volume 18.

Another interesting C G Jung quote which I noted years ago unfortunately without the full source is this:

"He (Hitler) belongs in the category of authentic wizards. His body does not suggest strength. He has in his eyes the expression of a prophet. His power is not absolutely political, it is magical. Hitler listens and obeys. The true leader is always one who is well led.
The idea is confirmed by the Word Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah, which translates to "He who is well led."

And Jung again: "German policy is not made: it is revealed through Hitler. He is the mouthpiece of the Gods of old...he is the Sybil, the Delphic Oracle."

Nazism and Islam both appear to have in them a continuation of the Marcion doctrine of Christianity suppressed by the Church in the first century.
