The nature of GLAMOUR and its hold on Us.

Glamour veils and hides the truth behind the fogs and mists of feeling and emotional reactions it is of unique and terrible potency, owing to the strength
of human nature to identify itself with the astral nature, and to the vital nature
of consciousness and sentient response itself, glamour can only be dissipated by the inflow of clear directed light, this is true of the life of the individual , or
of humanity as a whole.

Here are the names of some glamour's , the glamour of destiny, this glamour
which indicates to the one it "controls", that he has important work to do, and
that he must speak and work destined. This feeds a pride which has no foundation in fact The glamour of duty, this leads to an over-emphasis of the
sense of responsibility, or futility ,or of impotence. The glamour of mind, and
its efficiency, and its capacity to deal with problems, this leads inevitably to
isolation and loneliness. The glamour of sentiment, imprisons and bewilders all
the "NICE" people in the world, imposing upon them obligations which do not
exist, and produces a glamour which must eventually be dissipated by pouring
in true selfless love.

Essentially ego in dominance, causing attachment to body-mind, seeking narrow outcomes, meaning we know not who we are, which is living light in singularity.

About love, yes, most important and yet we see that love is like a flower, which must blossom. Energetically speaking, if the heart chakra is closed, which is to say that we dwell in our lower nature orbiting material gain, lust and power, then the animal instinct to dominate prevails.

How may we awaken love in those who do not feel it? I ask this question time and again. So far I have not found any answer. Perhaps true love awakens only when the soul reaches a certain level of maturity, after exhausting itself in the lower realms.

We seem to be surrounded by glamour, seduced by the package , and miss the
maggot within! The glamour of the intellect which can lead us into false pride
and arrogant behaviour, and its many shadings! Making a God out of science
and exaggerating its importance , looking at the label , and failing to see the
cloth! There are many glamour's which we are totally immersed in, it is like
a swirling fog , that blinds us from seeing the inner beauty of life, the surface can seem very bright, scratch it though and you will find a maggot!

We live in the body-mind day and night, 24x7, so even if recognition dawns that we are not this but presence of Self in-dwelling form, by virtue of operating through this vehicle, it is inevitable that certain tendencies or vasanas will develop. These habit routines, be they physical, mental or emotional, they are not so easy to shake off and in fact are useful.

These easiest illustration of our dilemma is gender orientation. Imagine of our gender is rotated, how equanimous will we yet remain? In fact, this ‘jest of the universe’, if we may put it that way, does in fact actually come about during a certain phase of the kundalini activation process, when male and female polarities within need to be balanced. It is highly disconcerting, when it occurs, to say the least, although in a short while, mercifully balanced is attained.

Our subconscious mind recognises patterns we have cultivated and then they appear at the forefront as our instincts or reflex responses. These are not entirely generic, they vary from person to person. We may liken it to say, this activity where we’re penning a post. The computer automatically suggests keywords, based on past patterns. We can call it an aid or an interference but it is the way it is.

During meditation, which is simply resting in our natural state, in thought rested silence, as stillness deepens and we slide into the abyss of no-thingness deeper, ego is then no longer centre stage. However, we then have lost our connection with the body-mind apparatus, which is to say we are only present at one coordinate, being where our attention animates our innate awareness.

We have heard of saints and yogis who had harvested the power of bilocation, meaning being able to function in two bodies at the same time. There are several examples ~ Anandamayi Ma, Padre Pio, Swami Pranabananda* (* referred to in Yogananda’s ‘Autobiography of a yogi’) and so on. Now, consider God-consciousness, where cosmic intelligence is cognisant of each thought, each emotion in all forms across the universe. Such is as it is and recognisable in direct experience, when we, if so graced, become the breath of God by melding with the all-that-is.

On a basic level of consciousness however, here in the organic, decaying vehicle allotted to us to experience duality, I guess we must make peace with latent tendencies that arise, looking at them as an AI tool which assists us to navigate this terrain.

I would say a lot of people Glamour above anything else.
is more important to some,
I am not one of them I have always followed my own path wear what I want within my own limits,
know what I am and capable of, and it is a lot more than people think

I look at what is underneath all the Glamour I look to the person themselves
As I read people I find it easy.

But I am also aware that Glamour covers up what the person is Actually Feeling.
Some people wear Glamour like a Shield.
But at the end of the day it is the Soul that matters.
