North Wales pictures.
Here (I hope) are some new pics of North West Wales...I love that country and will be going back there in the Spring.

I seem to have lost one of the Snowdon Railway,so I'll try another...old steam loco's going up the mountain ....beautiful !!

This is the old pump house at the Dorothea Slate Quarry...it was to draw water out of the quarry...
The Dorothea is now the deepest inland water in the British Isles....600 feet deep.
The surrounding land has become a "sort of" nature reserve.
More pics soon.

Now a pic of the waterfall at Abergwyngregyn (spelling)....all Welsh place names are in the beautiful Welsh language (still spoken in this area) aqnd the name describes the place...."Abergwynggregyn" means "The mouth of the white shell river"....any place in Wales who's name begins with "Aber" is on the mouth of a river.
It's a beautitul place there....Llewellin,the true Prince of Wales had his palace near her in the 14th century.
