Beard spirit

My beard is coming back into full coverage ... luckily, because it keeps my face warm in the winter and its the only time that I grow it. The gray is taking over if I look in the mirror to see my face, but before there were mirrors there was no looking to see or shave it. So back I go to the being covered in hair, the moustache is in too so food has to pass the hair to go to the tummy if not there, into the beard. Thank goddess for combs, I keep one in my pocket to feel the face underneath.

It is cold out, 18 F, and dark before 7:30 am, so before I let the dog out in back I had to shovel 2 inches of snow. So in my pj's and beard out I went.
Out I went and got half the deck done and the dog is scratching at the door to get out. I'm not cold, so I let him out and shoveled a path in the snow. No wind, the snow is a land beard, as are trees, homes.

I have a friend who wants to find spirits somehow and somewhere, so now with my beard in full coverage out into the woods I go, even in the cold to find in stillness and nature's home a spirits being in all alone.
