I hope not. Well not to look like I do when I die. I would hope to look like I so at this moment. I'm 35, I'm decent looking & probably at a point where I look neither old, nor young. I would prefer to look like this than I would at the age of my death which, I hope, won't come for many more years.

Any body that an entity has, including a dis-incarnate former human, is temporary. The most permanent state of being is pure consciousness without a body. But I realize you did ask about the astral plane, which in my opinion is adjacent to this physical plane, but there are many other planes more grander and more spectacular than the astral plane, and people who have died are encouraged to ascend to those planes, or realms; Buddhists call them "Bardos." But the work of ascension, in most cases, can only be done on this physical plane; because all of the elements needed to ascend are here. As the Biblical saying goes "there are many mansions in my fathers house."
