Do you believe butterflies have any spiritual meaning? Have you ever encountered good luck after having a butterfly land on you?

Today I had the biggest, most beautiful yellow butterfly around me, it came up to me 4 times and landed on me while on my 5 minute break at work. I hope it means good luck

I've noticed the sudden increase of butterflies around my area even spotted a caterpillar on my vehicle once which I had it relocated on a nearby tree to metamorphosize. Most are monarch butterflies around here but I've seen some black swallowtail here and there in my yard. Speaking of swallowtail, I've discovered one in my backyard that was no longer alive, I've gently picked it up and placed it on a jar. The coloration is between black and blue with some orange spots. It's beautiful. I do recall having one land on me but that was a long time ago; can't say whether I had any luck or not during that time. I do feel that butterflies contain some form of spiritual meaning.

Summer is peak season for butterflies, they get a good 2 to 4 week life span.... The longer the summer or warm weather, the longer they stick around before significantly decreasing in the fall. I have been seeing more than usual this year.

There’s a lot of them around here right now. This one was so BIG. It may have been a Swallowtail. It was yellow with black trim. I do think I’m going through a transformative time right now, it’s probably a spiritual omen of that side of me. I’m starting a new, higher paying job after Labor Day weekend....and I’m making a lot of pretty major changes. So maybe that will bring me good luck! Thanks again for the replies.

Butterflies are said to be the transport for the faries. they are also a sign from spirit.especially when you think of a loved one that has passed.

Yes that would make sense, at exactly the same time...I got two signs from my deceased uncle who died in Vietnam. The one I wrote about on here who died before I was born, and who I met through dreams. I didn't make the connection until you posted this. Thanks love!

I saw a pale yellow butterfly having never seen that colour before one particular day a couple of months ago. The following day, I saw it again in the exact same place and thought wow. That afternoon I got a call to see if I wanted to view a house (I was looking to move house but spent 14 months unable to find one I liked enough to move to) so I went. In the space of 3 hours, the house was mine and I moved in that night. Don't even ask how that happened, its a longer story and I'm still to this day getting my head around it...in a good way.

I'll never again underestimate what the Universe can do for you. Strangely that particular month I was manifesting at an alarmingly fast rate and still don't know how I was doing it
