I keep affirming money will just be given to me

And lately it totally has been over and over by new people too. I know this stuff Is working. I just got 80 dollars in three days. It is nicccce to savor. I know savoring the feeling invited more!

I'm starting to write my affirmations over and over for very high amounts. I want to say and think it until I believe it can be my reality for the rest of my life.

A problem I have with people and their affirmations / LoA is so often directed at material abundance which to me is spiritually negative. You need as much as you need. Most people don't need most of the stuff they acquire but the habit behind this tends to tie someone to the material world which in my view is the lowest emanation of The Creation. It's part of our spiritual existence but at the very bottom and hard to lift oneself into more refined spiritual realms. One can't want lots of money AND be free of the things that money ties you to.

One might want lots of money to share with people and causes one cares about.

There is a false belief that rich people are bad. There is no correlation between how rich one is, and how good, or "spiritual" one is. When you have money it is easier to make money, and you can share more money with others while still keeping money coming. If you don't have money, you can share only your good will, which many times is affected by your shortages, and poverty.

Generalizations can lead us in error.

I did a spell recently to attract more financial prosperity to myself. Today I was walking out and in a vision everything turned into money. I realised then wealth is everywhere, you just have to see it and turn it into something tangible.

Similar to LOA, using positive thoughts through the use of magic (aka will) to move energy. I believe today's vision was a good shift for me psychologically and is a good omen for the future.

As a business owner for the last 37 years I see opportunities to make money literally every single day!!!

What I don't see is money simply jumping into your lap....you have to take the steps to make that money!

I can't speak for other countries but here in the U.S there is so much opportunity that nobody short of having mental or physical inability has any excuses for not having a solid income.

And now that we finally have an administration that has its act together and is ramping up the economy to a huge degree....those opportunities to make money have grown considerably....you just have to get out and take advantage of it!

They might just. That's why one puts in caveats like "so often directed at material abundance which to me is spiritually negative.", which means "other cases are possible", along with an indication that it's an opinion.

Generalisations tend to be valid in general which doesn't mean every case (please note I said "tend"). It's a big subject. For instance, I'm forced to give my money away to people who claim to need it, through systems called tax and welfare. Short of writing an essay to cover every contingency, a qualified generalisation will have to do for now!
