Lost souls? How?

Ok, firstly I apologise for all the questions I ask on here (I know it's a lot) however, this is the reason why I joined the forum, to hear thoughts of spiritual people who answer my questions. I appreciate the time everyone takes to answer my questions- and they all mean a lot to me, so thank you.

My new question is this.... I've heard of people who, when they pass over become loss souls. I've heard that quite often they don't even realise they are dead. But i've also heard that EVERYBODY is born with a spirit guide, or guardian. If this is the case, why are there lost souls? Surely if they were lost, their guide would reveal to them whatever it is they need to know?

To lose is not to have, in hand or mind. Once we approach the circle of death and dying the preparation we have taken and given makes the journey possible or not with how we have lived up until now. Now always opens the door up to the possibility of being and becoming with less desire, as to have attachments to bodily sensations that make us want more, not less, and less of suffering.

the short answer to this would be, because there is free will.
One would need to understand the different ways of disembodying, "natural" death compared to a violent death,(murder, accident , suicide)
and once we are out of body, the guide can not reach us any longer. The angelic who serve in the non physical earth realm only assist if one accepts their assistance.
Besides, the soul is never lost, since it never enters a body, it is the spirit who enter the body, and can be temporarily "lost". It is all a matter of time, and time is not much of a factor where they are. At least spirits, when in the lower realms, don't perceive time as we do.

Ah, okay, that's why there are the cross over brigade ~

Some souls become so separated from the 'All that is ' that they cannot reconnect, even after death. They then become lost until a connection is finally made.
