But in my experience of the real life, the more attractive the outside is, the more one should be cautious about the inside.

Maybe it's an invitation to drink with the higher spirits. Jesus, Mohammed, etc?. Golden chalices are common in places of worship to give thank to the higher order. That all I know. Amen
