I agree that trying to be Perfect won't bring perfection because trying is an admission that you are not perfect which is not good for the Ego or Spirit.....so we are perfect but Earthly experiences make us think other wise.
I cannot admit I am Perfect....yet I am Perfect.....gettin a bit confused now!

You will have to explain if you want a reply.

To love unconditionally is based on the concept of the love being static, nothing is static, so unconditional is conditioned.

If there's no cracks the light can't shine through.

Perfection

All,

...perhaps a consideration from another perspective may help (expanded in the references).

WE ARE PERFECT EVEN AS OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT......

.....because the Creator created US and ALL the principles of Life out of His Own perfect, Divine pattern.

......whether you know that this is so, whether you do not believe this is so, or whether you are ignorant that this is so.

….and as also indicated, "Perfection does not come from projecting our own ideas but from awakening to the knowledge that it is already the established order of things."

That is the lesson we can learn from Adam and Eve….

When we comprehend that we and God are ONE ... as the Vine and the branch are ONE ... or as the Ocean and the wave are ONE, we have a choice to make.

....the very same lesson Adam and Eve had to learn.

Hope this, and the references, below helps....

" The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.”

Our essence is perfect.
