Life is to do what I think is right, and to be reasonably happy while I still am here. If I learn more about what is right and wrong in the process, then that is good too. But I will never be a real gamer because I don't care about top scores or levels or the best gear, and I loathe guilds and gametalk.

I'm agree Scarlett, the other day I saw a picture in a 4k television, that image was so much better than real life, I was like oh my god !

I had a dream once that I was a Grey Alien zooming around in an UFO my local shopping center. The colors & details were more vivid than I've ever seen in waking reality. Things were actually pulsating vibrantly and as sharp as ever! I imagine I saw this way because of the large black eyes, or full blown pupils

For me life is experience. The longer I live the more good and bad events occur and the more I learn. I always try to maintain a neutral attitude towards the future, neither thinking things are going to be great or horrible. Anytime I have had such a thought then invariably the opposite has happened. I do enjoy the surprises though. Nothing better than to experience the realisation that everything isn't quite what you thought it was. One of my early and most pressing goals was to find a purpose. Having now found a purpose, the ship I sail in, so to speak, on this life's journey has become a bit more stable. I do see an island on the horizon. I hope to reach it before one of those big random waves hits.

I like this metaphor!

Thanks for liking the metaphor ThoughtOnFire. I enjoyed reading about your lucid dream. Lucid dreams are always special.

Thanks,

There are some who see Lucid Dreaming as a ticket to a theme park or holodeck. I think ideally Lucid Dreaming is much more important dare I say 'serious' of a thing. Much growth is done, perhaps even the sowing of the crop, in Dreamland.

A few times I have been guilty of treating a lucid dream as a theme park. But I agree they should be taken seriously. Like many on this forum I have experienced prescient dreams as well as mystical dreams/visions, also some frightening stuff. Overtime though I have become a bit more sceptical about the motives of some of the dream characters I encounter. Dreams do contain truths, but also lies. I believe sometimes dream characters are there not only for our benefit, but theirs. I sense that sometimes they don masks in order to take the opportunity to interact with me and gain satisfaction from this interaction.
