Religion is all about social order and control. Thus "sin" is a way to keep you in line. One can say this is a "sin", and if you sin you will suffer, at the hand of others and god. Look at history.

So interesting love. I have never ever thought of the link before, especially in terms of consciousness and awareness. Makes great sense as a possibility. And maybe sin equals not practice.

Sin is anything that comes between me and my God. To the extent I am separated from God by sin, I am suffering (in hell so to speak).

The sin is not being balanced with the Earth! Physically and mentally balanced!

I believe to sin is to harm my own mind and/or body, and also the minds and bodies of others. I don't believe we can sin against God because we cannot harm God. When we believe we sin against God we really sin against ourselves.
My conscience is my guide; the conscience is the voice of the soul. It warns me against sin and makes feel guilt for any sin that I commit. The mind and the body can handle only so much guilt. The more I sin the more I suffer.
I am judge and jury of my actions. God has need no to judge each of us individually. God has made us responsible for our own actions.

Well, gee, missing the Mark* (I cap it) is falling short...like an arrow
missing the bull's eye...and there are
different degrees of pain...just disappointment is painful.
Hitting the Mark is Joy.
*You all know sin is translated that in Greek...simply , 'missing the mark'.
That's it...nothing more...no hellfire and brimstone involved...
lack of connection to your Source, otherwise called separation or delusion.

You know you have to stop thinking this sentence, right?
Each time you write it it just confirms your Path will be hard.
Start thinking that it is easy! A piece of cake...very doable..
Because it is...paper chains...limiting thoughts keep us limited.
(Hope it was ok to say this to you and I didn't over step.)
I still love you.

Sin is a wrong doing, and a wrong doing will make you or someone else feel pain at some point after the event.
Sin doesn't have to be related to religion. It can be related to morals, hence you'll know the difference between right & wrong if you pay attention to your morals.
There's no need to be saved, there's no saviour. Just learn & grow.

Hey thanks Lemex, the word "sin" come from Religions and Religions come from Astrolobiology. Have you ever had the pleasure of viewing Zeitgeist (don't know if I spelled it correctly), from 16 minutes on for the first part, you will see where the religions originate (view of the author, but, I find it very interesting)!
The best to you!

I've just received a message from my guide:
"Sin is the cause of our love"
It's very true I think.
