Moola Bhanda and anus
Hi everyone,
Regarding the Moola Bhanda. Will contracting the anus be enough to perform a Moola Bhanda?
As a newbie I feel contracting the anus might be a good starting point without causing and internal damage.

Yes. This actually happens to me all the time throughout the day as an automatic Kundalini Kriya. Sometimes I feel it is for grounding, other times I feel it is to push Kundalini energy up the sushumna. I forgot what it's actually for though. But yes, that's plenty enough to perform it.

I thought I'd mention you can contract the muscles both inwards and outwards. I don't know which way you're meant to do it for the moola bhanda, but they both do something. Maybe experimenting a little... :)

I was thinking more like, you know when you are in a crisis, you want to **** so badly and hold it by contracting the anus, that is the way I thought I could practise the moola bhanda.
By simply contracting the anus inwards to prevent leakage and return to normal position.
There is a video from "kino yoga" on mula bhanda and she raised that suggestion, the anus only.
