Post everything you know about Astral Projection!

A.P. needs as much research as it can get, because we don't know so many things about it. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't scientific, just enough trustworthy and intelligent people to spend time to research it and tell us more about it.

Is it the same plane we dream in, or a slightly different?
(Because Lucid Dreaming to me seems more related to dreamscapes than to Astral Projection. Or maybe it's all the same, just the method and point of access is different.)
Is it other Dimension /s? If so, what kind?
Are the beings there of that dimension? Are there ghosts of dead people, or are they living beings. How many different types of things/beings are there? Tulpas, plasma ghosts, beings, angels, etc.

Are they archetypes, projected forth from our beliefs? And just a reflection of our inner life, or is it an objective outward reality existing somewhere else?

How related is it to remote viewing? ( We need more teams performing tests with each other in Astral, like putting an object in designated location and asking for the projector to identify it. With trial and error we could deduct different things, like different realms, higher or lower, do they exist, and so on.) How much of it is objective and how much of it is subjective?
