are u joking? upon registering we can't edit the profile, can't access chat, can't add an avatar or a sig. then what was the ''validation'' email? a joke?

That is the rule and it keeps SF free from "spammers" and the successful site that it is.

I agree with lily. It's tough for me, but I'm slowly racking up those posts lol.. It's worth it :)

I think the 25 post rule is a good thing, especially on forums like this. There is the potential for a lot of spammers, and I think it's acceptable to make it a bit more challenging for them. Plus, it's a good way to make sure that people get involved with the community.

Katia I thought exactly the same thing, but it does stop people registering just to spam which real members of any site hate. So while a bit irritating serves a useful purpose! Maybe more sites should follow suit, 25 posts really isn't that many if the site is for you. Get posting!! :-) x
