Where do I begin?

Everytime I dive into the spiritual realm I become overwhelmed with all there is to learn, understand, and practice. This eventually leads me away until I once again find my way back.

My beliefs vary greatly which is another thing that makes it so hard, and really I haven't pinned down what exactly all my beliefs are.

My main focus right now is meditation, which will hopefully lead me to astral projection. I'd also like to start practicing white magic (I apologize if that's the wrong terminology), but I can't do either of those things without understanding the whole picture first.

I want to start my journey, but I really need some guidance. Maybe someone could even direct me to a teacher.

Meditation is very good for spiritual development.
Wish you find a good teacher.

Perhaps it would help to focus on what you do, rather than on where you want it to take you.

It's like looking at a cliff and thinking you cannot possible make it to the top - but when you look at the first step and take that, then the second step, then the third... you will naturally find yourself in a different place.

I understand your frustraion. Spirits visiting me made me join circle so I could develop further. Well, two years later I hardly had any Meduimship experiences or development.

It all takes time, sometimes years. Also, i think sometimes you need the experience to even comprehend the material you want to dabble in.

For me, the best place to start was with journaling. Grab a journal and start writing about yourself, feelings, dreams, and fears. I don't think there is anything more spiritual than connecting and understanding yourself first.
