Yes, very kind of you all. Thank you friends, new friends, and friends of friends!
In perusing the site so far, I'm interested in lucid dreaming/conscious sleep and astral projection. I've started keeping a dream journal and have become much better acquainted with my dream world. I recently ran across a book about lucid dreaming in the bookstore, and I started implementing "dream world checks" during the day in hopes of it carrying over to the dream world. I've also just started trying to stay awake for twenty minutes and then go back to bed in the mornings as that is another suggestion I've come across. I've also just read about astral projections, and trying to spin/float/sink as I wake up which is consistent with some other lucid dream suggestions I've found.
Many months ago, I was briefly able to switch my perspective from the dreamer to the dream object in a dream. I've noticed a few times where I've become a little more conscious in my dreams. Not quite lucid, but I'd be able to think while in the dream.
The journey continues!
