Chi kung is not a martial art, but there are types of chi kung which are specifically for martial artists, to become stronger, more psychic, move faster, and to cultivate chi power and for what I call Jedi abilities.

You should read my introduction in the welcome section.

I think Tai Chi is the most interesting form of exercise I've ever done. Well it's been a while so I need to take it up again. This thread has reminded me. Thanks.

Tai chi, is a better for health than a lot of the chi kung that you will find available to the public. That is, if you learn it in the traditional way from a real adept or master. The dumbed down versions can be lacking a lot of the essence of tai chi.

A good way to find something more authentic is to look for Chen tai chi, which has not been *******ized (Westernized) like Yang style has. Yang style, from a real master, is good though.
