Ghee for lamps? What do you Use??

I read today that The shrine or Puja Lamp can be lit by Ghee or Oil. Do any of you use fuel other than ghee? I don't remember how I got the impression that it could only be lit by ghee. However according to what someone told me recently, Sesame Oil / Gingelly Oil Castor Oil or Neem Oil Illupai Oil may be used. They each have benefits.

Anyone use any of these other than Ghee?

Thank you
AUM

Someone sent me a link as to how they make canola oil.
I wouldn't oil a hinge with it.
Sorry. Media has lead us to believe it is a great thing.
It isn't. :(
