Neil quote:
Am I correct in saying, that out of all of the biblical scriptural versions, that only the KJV uses the word....."replenish". The rest use words such as "fill"

I am big on the study of Hebrew (Tohu va bohu)
Gen.1: 1 God created the Heaven and the Earth. (Not void but inhabited)
Gen 1: 2 The earth became/was void and darkness was on the face of the deep.
Thus began the replenishing.
The picture this creates in my studies is that God created heaven and earth in Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2 He already wiped it away and made it void.( The fall of Lucifer) of course you have to stretch a lot of verses together and change slightly the translations from was to became in Gen 1:2. The word void and vain are the same hebrew word. God does not create in vain.(Tohu) Isaiah 45:18.
Replenish, fill, accomplish, furnish, gather, satisfy, set etc. all are translated from the word Mawlaw
And so on. If I am wrong it's not a big deal. But it explains a lot to me. I could go on but I won't.
