What can I do to strengthen the relationship with my spirit guides?

Have faith, they will appear when you are really ready. Trust the signs all around and within you and seek truth/purity with all your being. Sometimes the wanting of experiences becomes a distraction from the spiritual path.

The night before I had a vision of one of my guides I kept having the thought "when the student is ready, the teacher comes" this should be the basis of your faith. I did ask that same night if I could see them.

In the meantime trust that they are already guiding you. It is hard to hear when your ears are blocked and hard to see when your eyes are closed - in a metaphorical sense.

Developing communication with your guides feels like a slow process but if you're actively making time for frequent practice and you document your results, when you look back the spaces between breakthroughs and accomplishments will look like leaps in progress.

Giving offerings to guides or spirit allies is a good way of establishing a bond or keeping it in good faith. Like giving them gifts, of food or whatever you think they'd like. They appreciate it because you're not always about getting and are saying they're important to you beyond what you can get from them.
