Learning My Self

Six-ish years ago, I began a journey of complete self-realization and integration. Study and meditation have led me to believe that I am a Human incarnation of something or someone not originally or entirely Human. Certain experiences and dreams I've had have taught me a great deal about the qualities that make me who or what I am, but I feel like not having all the puzzle pieces is keeping me from seeing the whole picture. Whatever and whoever I am, these are my characteristics:

- composed of Fire with a core of Light, the feeling of being elemental
- flight (in some of the dreams where I am flying, I have a sensation of wings, but I don't always have that sensation, and I've never seen wings or evidence of them; in all of my dreams involving flight, I have to get a brief running start to achieve it)
- a preference and talent for rejuvenating the self and others, especially healing injury brought on by unmerited harm or malicious attack
- a predilection for fury at the harm of innocence (I can pardon any crime except the intentional corruption of things and people in their most vulnerable infant stages; that is an unpardonable rage button)
- a strong tie to and a responsibility for the world tree
- the drive to see Humanity meet its highest possible potential and capacity for good

I hate to sound like I'm telling some sort of joke or riddle, but considering these characteristics, what am I? For a while, I entertained the notion that I might be an Earth Angel, but I feel like my place and service are more about the direct care of Humanity, the Earth, and the rebirth cycle; I don't feel like 'higher service' to a deity is my purpose. The best I've been able to consider is that I'm an embodied Phoenix, but that doesn't... resonate?... with me in a lasting way. It feels close but not right. The concept of the Phoenix feels more like something I would use as a symbol or nickname. What other 'otherkin' have these qualities? Also, what are those beings' other qualities so that I might see if any are a complete match to me?

As my meditations continue, I am learning that the concept of a "Light Worker" is not limited to one specific spiritual species of entity. For now, knowing that I am a Light Worker is enough. I'll learn what kind of Light Worker when it will most benefit me and those I serve, and I'm allowed to rest in that.
