Love You Mama

My grandma, "Mama", passed away yesterday on her birthday. She was 95 years old. She was hanging on until her birthday to "leave".
After a long suffering of her health issues, she passed away peacefully in her hospital bed. We all spent time talking to her, holding her, and kissing her. Then they took her down to the morgue after 4 hours. We got a 2nd chance to see her at the morgue after my other aunt and my estranged sister arrived.
Mama was surrounded by her loved ones.

We love you Mama. Watch over us from the Other Side. Many hugs and kisses to you. See you later.

So sorry to hear about your beloved grandmother.

"When I come to your world I am like a bird that is imprisoned within a cage and when I leave it I am like a bird joyfully released to wing its way through boundless space. What you call death is the opening of the cage and the release of the bird from its prison..."

My condolences to you and your family.
But blessings to your Grandmother "Mama" on her transformation, and her journey in the next world.

I was drawn to this thread because only a short time before I came onto the forum I said "Love you Mama"....for a blessing on my own Mother's spiritual journey (she passed away October 2009)
