For the last two years I have lived in a spiritual community on Hinduism beliefs in Northern California. I have learned the Philosophy of Yoga and they have become a family. There is about 300 people in the particular community but there are other of the same communities around the world, (India, Italy, Slovenia and around the USA) Anyway, It is a Gurukula meaning it is based off of teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. I love love love Yogananda but this community is not my path at all. So I am on to explore another beautiful experience.
I think I just posted this to say how grateful I am for the idea of spiritual communities, and how much they work. We live in a 'village' where we have our own organic market, our own thrift store, mail room and much more. It's basically a little town. Everyone here is so supportive of anything you do in your life.
And right now...this website is like a community! A place I can go to when I need advice...so this is a big thanks to you all!
