In the 'Five Animal Frolics' there is 'Standing Pole Position'.
Perhaps it is similar?
One puts ones feet at shoulder width;
Turn the toes a little inward;
Bend the knees slightly;
Yes, your legs will quiver for the first few weeks!
Not to worry, it just seems difficult!
The hands go in a shape of holding a basketball wide,
with a space of three inches from the body,
centered three finger widths below the navel.
Imagine energy slowly rising from the small of the back,
circling counter clockwise on the crown of the head for a minute,
then the energy goes down the face and chest,
to rest in the center of the held hands for a minute,
then between the legs and back up.
Take ten minutes for this pose and visualization.
Studies show that wherever one's consciousness rests on the body,
blood flow increases in that area.
Imagine your hands as a focus of attention,
blood flow will increase.
