Exclamation Mediumship and antipsychotics

I was wondering if antipsychotics medicine would completely decrease or block medium abilities?

Hello

I think it all comes down to what your "Higher Self" feels that you need at a time of healing. I know that for many Medium's drink takes it away, but alcohol takes you to an unnatural altered stated of being.

When it comes to prescribed medications your put on them to balance out chemicals in the brain and to bring some balance to your life. It at times makes things clearer to understand what is "normal" and what is "paranormal" in feelings and experiences.

I do not feel that yes or no would fit as a reply as we are all different and we all have different needs. I know that I was put on something for a year when I had a serious injury and needed to be calm to heal. I do not recall things leaving me in that time, but I have about a year that is much a blank to me, in what the pain levels were, and how day to day life unfolded on some levels. I do know that I still did readings then.

I am currently on medication to help balance my emotional nature.

I still do readings (Psychism) and rather than the medicine affecting them adversely, it has actually become a bit easier than it was at first, due to experimenting with technique.

It has helped clear things up so I am more able to read.

I think it depends on the individual, how much medicine, and realize too medicines can have some cognitive side effects.

My experience has been that it hasn't affected my psychism readings but has instead improved them due to having the concentration to be able to practice.

So I am in agreement that there may not be a cut and dried yes or no, answer here. It is an individual thing dependent on many factors including how much the medicine is helping the person and side effects, amongst others.

Hope this was helpful.
