I was terribly distressed when the news broke and still haven't taken it in properly.

It's the saddest thing that so many of our most gifted entertainers have so much pain to deal with. I can think of a number of such people who resorted to suicide.

I'm not often affected to this extent by the death of a entertainer, but Robin was a real legend and human being.

It's so sad that he's gone. RIP Robin Williams.
Ever since I was little, I remember watching him in Mork and Mindy.
A short while ago another favourite childhood commedian Rick Mayall died also.

While Robin was acting, his real humble good hearted human qualities were carried over to all his characters. He was teaching and giving so much to this world through his work.
His good nature has reached many across the world, and will always be remembered and cherished. His inspiration lives on.
My favorite scenes were the hospital ones, so many people don't even think or are aware of all these poor kids that are born and raised in hospitals in real life. It's so sad, but it doesn't have to be and he gave so much hope to all of them.
Peace.

Continues to break my heart every time I think about it.

May he find peace in the forever after and may healing and hope find those who mourn in his absence.

He did not kill himself. No way. Not a chance.

Let's send him all our love, our joy, our gratitude, our smiles.

Thank you so much Robin Williams, for what you brought to us.

(My favourites were Mrs Doubtfire and "What Dreams May Come.")

I'm still feeling a lot of sadness with his passing. His movies were such a huge part of my childhood. It's weird how someone you don't really know can affect your life. I felt incredibly sad when I heard the news and I'm still genuinely gutted that he's gone.

I posted earlier in this thread, and now upon reading it all over again with the new posts, I've got tears in my eyes....It's rare that a movie star or celebrity makes you love them just by being them, he was imperfect and he accepted that, and yet he just seemed to put out such vibes of love, no matter what he was doing.
