I can only confirm all that has been written above. All animals pass to the astral after physical death, just like humans do.

What pet do you have, Babylon? You will be reunited "later", be sure of that....

You have a nice dog, what is his/her name?

Great to know that our pets will be with us. I love my parents very much too and would love to know that she will be okay too when they passes and i will see them again.

Don't worry, all your loved ones will be there - both the two-legged and the four!

Ramana Maharshi himself stated clearly that his cow, Lakshmi, had indeed become liberated (moksha) in the Vedanta sense. Humans sometimes tend to over-rate themselves relevant to animals.

"And while it is believed that in the presence of Bhagavan liberation can be bestowed on any devotee, the case of Cow Lakshmi is the most outstanding for according to Bhagavan it is Lakshmi and Bhagavan's mother who attained liberation."

Great to know that. I always knew animals had souls.
When my dog will pass (I hope he stay with me for more years) i know he will go in peace and my family there will take care of him. As my other 2 dogs are in safe hands too.
That warms my heart to know that.

How beautiful. It might sound unusual to many of us, but it sort of doesn't surprise me, as I have experience of the particular quality of my own dog's spiritual energy since she passed, and that has certainly 'opened my eyes' to the potential of those Souls who came here as animals.

Also, from observing many cows where I live, I have noticed that they are ready to be affectionate if given the chance and treated as "Beings" not just milk machines. They are definitely very affectionate with each other out in the fields....although sometimes I have seen some cows mildly 'bullying' others! They also can have a mischievous sense of humour. And some of them can be quite musical!

As you noted, it is worth meditating on "the potential of those Souls who came here as animals".

My own cat, Sita, who crossed over three years ago, used to "meditate" with me and, to this day, I sense that she was more spiritually advanced than I was. Communication on the deepest levels does not require words.
