Lucifer...The TV show
Hi everyone......just wondering if there are any more fans here of the Fox TV show Lucifer????
I've been watching it since last seasons pilot and find the idea very intriguing.
The first season was quite campy but interesting... and laid all the ground work for the 2nd season which has lost quite a bit of the campiness and has turned to more hardcore drama with some really interesting new characters
And the end of last nights episode prompted me to start this thread as Lucifer has finally allowed a human....his therapist no less....to know his real identity......and the import of that will /must change the direction the show is taking.
For those who are unfamiliar with Lucifer.....The premise is that Lucifer, Lord of Hell has grown weary of persecuting the damned and tired of doing his fathers (GODS) dirty work and seriously needs a break....and decides to take one......
.....And so incarnates on earth in the form of a handsome man and business owner....where??? Los Angeles of course! The city of angels!
.......Where he is happily running a risque night club....having sex with any hot woman he wants to and helping the police solve murders.....
The show is fun, sexy and I find the shows interpretation of its biblical slant intriguing.

I have never heard of this show, sounds interesting, I just might have to check it out ! There are so many shows on tv that are basically the same old themes....nice to know there is something different.

Addrienne...Lucifer is pretty different from all the other kludge on TV...
There were a few episodes in the first season that got a bit tedious with police procedural stuff but the 2nd season has really started off with a bang!

Ha ! I am sure Lucifer is very different from the other shows !
I could look it up, but being lazy at the moment, lol ....
what night and time is it on ?
moving on to movies, there is a new one out with Tom Hanks, called " Inferno ".... I am thinking this is like the 3rd one in the series, if one can call them a series, Davinci Code and Demons and Angels. Have you seen them ?
I thought I read somewhere that Demons and Angels, which was made and released after the Davinci Code is actually the first of the movies. Just curious as I want to watch them all again... the first two before seeing " Inferno " and thought if there was a particular order, I should watch them in that order.

Lucifer is on one of the Fox channels on Monday nights. ...
If you have an on-demand cable box you can watch all of them back to the first season including the pilot...
You know....I've studiously avoided watching any of the Davinci code stuff......and I don't really know why because I've heard they are really interesting. ....

Thanks, Monday nights are good.
well.... if you are looking for something to watch, I would recommend them, at least the first two, haven't seen the one that just came out in the theatres.

I watch lucifer, mostly because tom Ellis is charming as hell!(no pun intended)
I can watch him for hours....and I think the show is entertaining...

Would love to be a fly on the wall in the writer's room.

I heard about the season being picked up and extended too!!!
Can't wait for next Monday's episode.. since Lucifer revealed his true identity to his therapist at the very end of the show......next week is when the fallout from that will start. ...
Gotta feeling the excrement is fixing to hit the rotary air impeller! !!!
