Maladaptive food that needs cognitive restructuring
Sitting quietly at the local Ninos pizzeria in Delaware , I'm reminded about how gross marinara sauce is. Have you ever wondered why marinara, ranch, blue cheese and all the other 3rd chakra harming foods taste like spit and how the American food industry has hardly any real food anymore .
Why are people being encouraged to use creamy dipping sauces with everything and why does it feel like places like papa johns have more then just the creamy garlic dip?

I really shoudn't comment as I'm from UK and don't know your options in the US. But all these dipping sauces sound to me like a pile of chemicals, Same here. I look at them in the supermarket and wonder what the heck they are made from. Mostly acetic acid and (sugar if youre lucky -otherwise aspartame) and flavouring probably with a bit of guar gum thrown in.
Now if you made your own sauces and dips at home you could whip up something nutritious and healthy I think.
Avocado dip with garlic and black pepper.
Tomato and chilli dip with basil.
Creamy sauce with parsley made at home.
Hummus.
There must be lots of good recipes for these things you could find which have proper food in them.

I don't think I know this sauce, but having visited the US I must say I feel sorry for you people when it comes to food. Unhealthy food is available everywhere, whereas in many European cities it is easy to get affordable and decent sandwiches. Organic food is also outrageously expensive in the US..
In US cities I was basically forced to eat Subway almost every day because it was the best option available..
The food system across the world also shows us that there is hardly a 'free market'.. what choices there are depend on political agendas done in close collaboration with big agri-business interests.

Yep.....all this kinda stuff comes under the heading of highly processed garbage. ....and we don't eat any of it!
We grow most of our own vegetables. ....and frequent a farmer's market when we can't grow it ourselves. ...
When we want fish....we go catch it.....when we want meat we go out in the wilds and kill It ourselves. ....
Its the only way to live!

I like how you mention the food market around the world. People in the business world want to make healthy products free of chakra destroying ingredients, but are still required to add something like sunflower oil ( you are eating a sunflower...think of that in spiritual terms and apply some logic) in natural or organic options. So much information regarding the health of food is hidden behind walls. Like broccoli. Its touted as healthy but is one of the worst foods for spirituality.
People should be able to understand the truth behind these walls. Some would think allowing people to eat to see light could have potential consequences...but it today's world the only consequence would people seeking more light and understanding how diet affects our ability for uni lateral decision making.

I don't feel we should overthink eating sunflower seeds. We need food! Birds eat sunflower seeds, mice do, and Squirrels will if they can get them. Why shouldn't we?
Surely if we eat lentils then we are eating potential lentil plants/flowers? Same with nuts or anything.
But for sure mass produced store-bought sunflower oil is not only damaging to the environment but to us too. Finding a good healthy one ethically sourced is best if possible.

Most maladaptive- the diner industry. The menu contains items encouraged by an association of retired lagging skill trollish club draggers from Harry potter restroom scene where Harry and friend fight off troll criminals like folks.
