Hearing my mother's thoughts, what is that?

Can someone please help me determine exactly what I have been experiencing lately? I was thinking it might be clairaudience, but then thought telepathy. Perhaps it is neither. I am just asking for any thoughts.

I moved my mother to an Assisted Living facility recently. She has been on my mind much more than usual. I also have been visiting her more than I usually do and meeting some of the other residents.

In recent weeks I have been overwhelmed by hearing my mother's voice talking as though it is her thoughts. My dad died last year, and I hear her voice asking my dad what happened to him, and she cannot believe he is gone and that she misses him. She has even called out to him "Oh, honey look what has become of everything." I hear her saying how much she dislikes living with all these strangers.

It breaks my heart. It is hard to hear, and I have to work though that. However, I trust what has been coming through to me is from her and is real.

On a random note, two other times I have even heard the voice of another resident I recognize and he is saying how much he misses his old friends and feels said he does not have any new friends there.

It happened to me a few times, there's so much more out there that we are not aware of.. Don't know much about this myself, I would say, see where this leads you.
