I wrote this because I was giving logic that even if any modern technology "reduce the body's ageing process while rapidly healing any injuries received" but still this universe will end.

Immortaility will not be achieved until a person has learned all their lessons and are ready to ascend. At that time they will have graduated from the wheel of rebirth (reincarnation) and their physical carbon-based 3rd dimension will have been fully converted to silicon-based structure and they will exist in the 5th dimension and will be very much a light being. So in reality no technology will make a person immortal it can only lengthen their life.

This is perhaps a bit of an aside, but a number of artificial intelligence scientists expect to be able to 'upload' their consciousness onto the web within their lifetimes, creating a kind of immortality.
I'll see if I can find a link about it and post it.
To my mind, this seems like a kind of captivity that is not at all appealing but they are not kidding about it and seem to think it's a good idea.

Also, read anything by Ray Kurzweil to get the flavor of this kinda creepy direction in information science.

From what I can gather this would not create immortality for the individual concerned, it would simply make a copy of their personality on computer. It's similar to making a clone of someone. The original person still exists, and will die in time, but now there is a "copy" of him. Identical twins, or clones, do not share the same consciousness. They are both individuals.
